This is a Deep Tissue style Shamanic Holistic massage (organizing stress and toxin flow and elimination), which often includes deep joint rotations. This healing process is intended to thoroughly clear your heart, mind, and body and reboot your LIFE-STREAM or ‘running system’. ​This is a powerful and excellent way to cleanse the emotional body. Deep circular breathing is applied throughout the treatment in a repeated pattern as this, allows fresh energy to flow through the blocks and breaks up stored anger and grief and releases its hold on you. Using fingers, knuckles or elbows, neuromuscular therapists apply concentrated pressure on areas of pain until they reach a blockage, usually a spot that’s extra tender or numb. At this point, they’ll begin a stronger, more localized massage to relax the muscle. Relaxing muscles in this way releases lactic acid, increasing blood and oxygen flow, which, in turn, enhances the function of joints, muscles and movement. *Very firm massage*
